So, the very first thing you should always check is if your jack has been inserted all the way. This wasn’t really super visible, but when I took my phone in to fix my “sound problem”, this turned out to be the issue in the report I got. I suspect that I need to do a bit more dusting around the house because somewhere I’ve been putting my phone (or maybe it’s my toddler come to think of it) must have a lot of dust or dirt of some sort because it got into my phone socket! So much so that my jack didn’t want to go all the way. This one time, I had the craziest thing happen to me. I used to have my headphone amp hooked to control room out which worked perfect now its being weird as well, i can hear music and voices but its faint, can barely hear it, but when recording it comes back fine. It used to work flawless, had my headphones plugged can hear music just fine and then when i shut the music off and we started talking into the mic i could hear it great, now not so much. Example if i have an mp3 player hooked to line 7 i can hear music fine but im having trouble hearing any mic input thats plugged in. Recently, my headphone jack started acting weird it wasnt out putting sound correctly. Been a member here for a long time but havent used the site in a while, but now im having some mixer trouble and figured this was the place to ask.
